OP Don't you need to desolder for disassembly? I opened mine up when I first got and kinda recall desolder was the only way for a complete disassembly...

@Randallwhiz

Beauty of FT for me is that 6 month warranty and Miami return... Only used it a few times on DOA but, it is nice to have the extended options... Makes the shipping lag worth while...

Juice is not conductive, so that is probably not the reason. I remember P4Y demonstrated that by pouring juice into a device while it was charging. Tap water, otoh...

DOA is one thing... 3 months of whatever OP considers "use" is a bit different. For me, one of the points of having at least a few mods, is that you don't have to constantly use the same one for days at a time. 10 mods in rotation means they're getting used maybe 2-3 days per month each. Last a long time like that.

I have 12 devices in rotation so youre absolutely right.
Problem is that I also put a rather expensive very thin leather wrap around the mod.

@Vapor.
The leads were long enough to be able to enter the inside.

Maybe try the firmware upgrade/ downgrade? Worth a shot.

I read this thread, and I don't see anything to insinuate the OP abused the device. Maybe ask first before ass u me ing
unrealistic expectations lend to disappointment

I upgraded the Pico at arrival with my own customised logo.
And NO I don't feel abused. Neither does the Pico.

I did, too. "Occasional leak"??? Knowing this forum, that might mean they left full or half full tanks on it night after night. I own a lot of vaping gear, and, minus the auto fire ego from over 5 years ago, nothing since has failed on me. Not the dozens of mods or dozens of tanks. Nothing. Therefore, when I see this type of post, I tend to lean towards user fault. 3 months of use on a $25 electronic item does not deserve a refund claim, that's all I'm saying.

Just like this...you do know after you bust into these things, that probably nullifies any warranty, right?
