This happened to me to but that was only when that Phillips head squonk pins. Easy enough clean by taking the plate of. I've been using my dead rabbit on it before that I was using the dpro which has a huge protruding 510 but no leaks since I been using hex squonk pins just a wee tip I picked up using my black frame one. 😉

Mine is definitely junk. Put my thumb over the 510 plate to block off juice going out and it holds zero juice pressure. Just pisses out the space around that pin in the side.
I'm done with it, some type of proprietary 510, which is stupid....junk... shelved.
=(
I'll be in and out.

Ok, found my leak today... man I'm pissed =(
Right where I'm pointing, the round pin thingy. Don't know why the hell they punched a hole for a pin right there?! Looks to me it's a pin to hold the 510 in place. When you squonk the juice spits out from around that pin. =/ Wismec garbage... when will I learn... =(

put some epoxy glue around that pin to seal the whole thing? what do you think could work?

Doubt I'd get it clean and dry enough for anything safe to stick. But yeah, probably some sort of silicone or similar product safe for juice contact. Not sure really. I'm just going to replace the 510 when I figure out how to get this one out and mod the chassis to accept a good 510.
I'll be in and out.

I have not used it yet so I do an attempt, however I give a clean to the parts and seal with bicomponent epoxy glue, I will let you know.

@Dandemonic Noticed in your gif when you're "pinning" the juice bottle, the battery plate (magnetic) opens a bit. Maybe significant, probably not...but I don't like that.

It'd be great if Wismec fixed the problem but with so much gear coming out so quickly they're probably putting most/all of their efforts into blessing us with "The Next Big Thing"!

And thanks Oilreg for your original post. It's threads like this that give me renewed hope for the FT forum! Great pics from all of you who took the trouble.

JessVapin,
Perhaps a dumb question... but, would it be possible to fill that with clear silicone glue?

I think the result is the same, I have used bicomponent epoxy glue on the advice of a modder that has recommended me for this and other kind of intervention such as the insertion of SS reducers in the Skyline airdisks; he told me that it is just as inert as silicone but more durable.

More of a nuisance for me as it can lead to unexpected dry hits due to the reduced juice flow every press, just have to remember to hold it partially cradled on the base with a soft bottle.

Probably easily fixed with a small design change of the base plate mounting system, but as you say, on to the next big thing, it's much more profitable short term. Kind of a shame with so many years in the vaping game Wismec still has some quality control issues like these.
