Big selling point of the RX2 was the battery sled. Super strong, no chance of batteries flying out when dropped. I've seen too many battery doors wear and break. I'm pretty careful with my stuff, I have almost a 3 year old QC200 (internal 3s lipo) and it's still going strong, when alot of people have killed the packs within a year or two. There's nothing on it to really break off. The RX2 feels the same way. Magnetic doors, resin panels, or big battery doors worry me a bit when it comes to longevity.

Any chance of that RX2 being under warrenty? Or is it too late? Did you remove or check the screws circled here when you had it apart? I do remember them being surprisingly loose when I first took the mod apart.

Fake it 'till you make it, and fraud it 'till they audit

Cheers for the info, much appreciated!

Agreed on the battery sled, its solid as f*uck.

I've got my eye on a two new sets up I'm spurging about, so I think I will be moving on from the RX2. That being the Aegis Mini and (hopefully) the new Voopoo

But yes, I think some liquid may of gotten under where you have outlined the screws. Might try it while waiting on FT delivery.

Thanks a mil, bud

I have indeed! But I want an inbuilt that chargers by usb alongside a dual 21700, I'm a whore for dual 21700 btw, far superier. Jackaroo is damn tempting though, tough as nails! But then again, the Aegis is as good or worse/better, whatever... I wont be driving over it with a jeep lol

I really like the Jackaroo though, must say

Can i be a smart arse for a minute and say, then dont take the battery out of the jackaroo and charge it via the USB port. Back to normal now. I dont like to charge over usb as the port breaks sooner or later. I think the time has come to move away from micro usb to the new type C standard, think Eleaf has a new mod with that.

Yeah, micro USB's break easy, But possible one of these might fix the issue SKU 9636436 possibly with a little modification! See how it works out, if they are strong, may be worth it

I prefer the smaller form of the Aegis mini, the Jackaroo is pretty big for single 21700

Hey all!Need a new dual 21700 reg mod, there's a serious lack of GOOD dual 21700sAnyone got some good suggestions? Something not tacky and soft/crappy plastic and reliable... you know what I mean lolSingle cell 21700 Aegis/legend.... why oh why didnt they make it dual 21700!?We need more dual 21700 mods :(

I too am a fan of dual 21700 mods and I dont care for TC either.
They can be big and weighty which I don't mind.

Here are some on my wish list..
Voopoo X217 SKU 9690293 - not supporting Voopoo because of the controversy.
Mage 217 SKU 9659751
Tesla XT 220 SKU 9651762
Tesla Invader 4 SKU 9665251 (This is PWM but performance is just like the Invader III)
Squid Industries TAC 21 - no TC (a new batch just released last week)
Wismec RX2 21700 SKU 9627422
Geekvape Blade SKU 9633521
GTRS VBoy 222 SKU 9627851
Boxer DNA250 dual 21700
Sigelei GW SKU 9513302
Aspire Dynamo SKU 9672611
Smok I-Priv SKU 9646511

If you come across any more let me know.
:-))
