Wifi settings... help?
Not sure if it can even be adjusted, but its pissing me off...

Every single night between 7pm and midnight, our router will "kick" all wifi connections, reconnect, kick, back and forth intermittently. All LAN cables are always connected but wifi gets kicked. Not device specific, everything wifi....

Anyone aware of thier routers and if this is even adjustable?

Pretty fucking frustrating.

how many wifi devices does your router support, and how many are connected in the evenings? could it be that once everyone is home and rinsing the wifi that the wifi module simply falls over under the load?

ADSL router? Perhaps the router is struggling with increased interference on the phone line causing the router to restart. Monitor the signal in the settings and try to improve the wiring inbetween the router and the master phone socket. Turn off any fluorescent lights and plasma TVs.

Change your password. It might be other people have gained access and your router is overloaded. :)

If it was an overload, it should be "failing" durring day hours 12-5pm when at any given time has 10~ devices connected and being used. Night time only 3 or 4 are connected.

OK, so why always between 7pm and midnight?

It seems “live and let live” has given way to “my way or no way”. :)

Look for a firmware update for your router. Most name brand manufacturers like Linksys and Netgear are good at releasing updates often.
