440 or 440C ?
Hello,

can you confirm it's the 440C version ?
It seems to be from the pictures, but i would like to be sure...

Its not. I ordered one of these and it was the 440 version. Im a bit disappointed because the pic shows 440C.

Ganzo's Show 440c steel but its not. Still a very good china steel. I have read many on line knife fourms saying so. But Ganzo's are great knifes Great bang for the buck! I know this and still buy them.

Apparently ( like i read on the exduct website )there were 2 different production lines of G704 one with "440" and the other with "440c". From what i read, it's not just the writings, steels are differents, probably 8cr13 for 440 and 9cr13 for the 440c version...

Pick the 440c. Even if is not true. Cant beat the price.

This isn't 440C steel, it's 9Cr18MoV - China equivalent of 440C steel.
