Legal to import to UK?
Hi :) I might buy one of these as a gift but I don't know anything about knives.

Is it legal to import one of these to the UK?

Thank you both,

I have just been reading that this type of knife (I believe it's called an "axis lock") are sometimes seized by UK customs as they are mistaken for a "gravity knife" because the "pivot screw" has not been tightened enough?

Is it worth me asking fasttech to ensure the pivot screw is fully tightened before shipping (will they do this).

Or am I just worrying over nothing? :)

You can try asking them. Although I have bought a load of knives abroad, i have only had one confiscated by customs. This was because it was assisted opening although it didn't state on the description when i bought it. But i think i must have been pretty unlucky to have it opened as i haven't seen evidence on many of my package that they have been inspected
Its your risk to take you might just be unlucky enough to have a jobsworth, someone having a bad day or someone who doesnt know enough, but i think its pretty unlikely
