Mine was the same, works now after i cleaned the threads and screwed it in and out a few times. The edges are sharp as hell though.... be careful!!

Will these parts work with the Rocket clone? I know that my rocket is made by tobeco but I don't have one of the Fasttech kayfun v3.1 clones. I would think that they have the same threads but I could be wrong and spend the cash for nothing. I just want to use a different drip tip in my rocket.... want to get a real kayfun but its not in the cards in Xmas time so this would help me for the next month. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer.

@ MickiD - The Kayfun uses a "701" drip tip thread, But as far as I know, The Rocket uses the same threading as the CE5 style clearos, But their drip tips aren't directly compatible with the Rocket because the CE5 drip tips have that built in air tube below the threads.

The easiest option I can see would be to get a CE5 to 510 adapter and cut the air tube down to just below the threaded area to make it fit.

Not the nicest option I know, But I can't see another adapter out there that would do what you need.

Awesome thank you. I will just have to spend the $100 on a Russian or a kayfun lite in the near future. Thanks again

@ MickiD - I've got a Kayfun Lite and a Russian 91%, I have to say that I feel the build quality of the KFL is ever so slightly better than the R91%, But only by the smallest of margins. The R91%'s air control valve made it the better device though............. Till the Kayfun Lite PLUS came out !

I haven't bought a KFL plus yet, But it's added air control and a fill screw with an O-Ring to prevent that slight weeping of juice the original would start to do from this fill hole after a few hundred "Screw/Unscrew" cycles.

The air control valve is adjusted on the base (Next to the 510 connector), So it's slightly more fiddly than the R91%, But how often do you REALLY adjust this sort of thing anyway?

The KFL Plus still doesn't have an adjustable 510 centre pin like the R91% has though.

So, In the end it comes down to whether you would rather have an adjustable centre pin or a bone dry atty base when you unscrew it from your mod?

Both are really good attys though, So you'd be happy with whichever you get.

The drip tip adaptor will def not fit a rocket, it is too big. I made mine on my lathe for the rocket. Luckily I only ordered this kit for the s/s tanks which do fit the rocket.

Bought SKU 1494700 and this, the finish is spot on but the threading on the drip tip adaptor is off. Drip tip adaptor doesn't fit as it's thread is alot finer than the kayfun 3.1 they sell here. Is it just the kayfun 3.1 they sold me? Might as well chuck it in the bin

The 510 adapter fits on my kayfun (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1552300) but none of my 20 tips fit into it. Useless.
