For once it seems that fasttech's simplicity actually made this a better product.

There are simpler ways of quad coiling like the Helios, Brass Monkey etc T shaped positive post, I don't think this IGO-W6 way is going to improve flavour/vapour over the T-post so it's really just making something more difficult than it needs to be for no actual gain in flavour/vapour production. For me it's a pass. Next.......

Even the adjustable airflow ring (12 airholes) is better than the Youde (UD) product...

True but is it still 4 airholes or none? doesn't look like there's any dual coil option. Having just 6 of the slotted type airholes may have been better so you can run either all 4 or just 2.

I recently picked up an authentic one, and was concerned about it being a clone. After contacting UD, I found out they did make a V2 of this to replace the top thumb screw with a hole-in-post; just as pictured here. They have also updated the pics on their site.

Jontiac is correct in that 12 air holes vs. 8 (og) means that you can't go dual coil. In this case they might have been better off just putting 4 slots and skipping the small holes all together; an improvement would have been to put the small holes opposite each other instead of side by side (og). That being said, I can't imagine getting this atty just to put 2 coils on it.

If you look at my pics, this is a great atty for making vertical quad-coils and it vapes very well with good production and flavor. But, I paid $6 more for the original and got it in 2 days.

This is most likely a genuine Youde factory second.

I have the IGO-W from FT and it's obviously a genuine Youde, but the o-ring channels were turned a little too deep. Thicker o-rings and that problem is solved.

Rube Goldberg would get a kick out of "temperature control" devices.

This is exactly what I meant.
There is no big interest to buy SKU 1704300, if not used as so it is expected, ie quad coil build.

@Jontiac & Aesop
Thanks for bringing up the issue with using dual or single coils. If what you say is true, and I'm not doubting you, then this is a big win for Fast Tech! I can't believe they are able to get an updated version so quick and for the 1st time.

@Stefanp
Please expand on how this atomizer is crappy. I'd love to know why you think so. Any details, opinions, and whatnots will help alot. At this price point, I'm reluctant to spend this much on a dripper. Yes, I am a cheap bastard.

@PB, I tried posting the product page, but FT's auto filters blocked it. There is a link to the UD site in the 2nd paragraph of this post. Go to Products > Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer (RDA) then click on the first IGO-W6 and you will see the same setup as this one.

The only "fail" I can see with this clone is the AFC ring, assuming you wanted to do dual coils. Realistically the design looks fine.

I would like to add that the recent almost authentic IGO clones that FT has been posting are only different in the material. It is much easier to drill holes in the IGO-W SKU 1624300 cap than an original IGO-W cap. This leads me to believe they are 303 SS instead of 304 that UD uses. This isn't a real concern, just an observation.
