Microcoils!!!! I would like to talk about your setups.
HI! I am very happy with this, I recommend to use this product Wire, 0.4mm*10m (A1) / SKU: 2073700.
I am using this in 2 attys, SKU 1700500 and SKU 1940200. Very very easy to use.

As I mentioned before, I would like to hear about setups. I post mine, microcoiling 12 wraps 3mm and cotton. Using kick at almost its top level (just before it gives dry hits). Good vape, good flavour, but not the best setup when chain vaping or cotton will turn to be a candy in 2 days, and that is something you have to take care while replacing it as the juiced cotton does not cooperate at all in the process.

Personally, the times I wrapped at 3mm the vape was not good or hot. I usually use 2mm wraps.

But that's just me...

I'm surprised you get any vapour out of that at all. Those will be about 1.7 ohm coils and using a kick 2 at 15 watts will give you such a slow ramp up time. About 85mw/mm^2 on 0.4mm (26awg) kanthal, if you are getting dry hits you have done it wrong. I put 40 watts in my Lemo through a 1.4 ohm 0.4mm kanthal coil so 1.7 ohm should be able to handle more power. Though I would not recommend this on the rtas that you have as the airflow is restricted so the vape will be very warm.

Thanks for answering! Started this as this product is new here and useful for almost every atty. You guys are always welcome to share info about your own setups, every comment I read here threw a good point of view, and hopefully more setups will arrive in an easy to read description so people like me won't panic about too technical references (wraps, gauge, mech mods). I am not very skilled at this, sure, but by the way this is working well and I hope that its negative things help anyway. The info you are sharing is appreciated. Using 2mm wraps I had some issues with the cotton, the candy shit arrives too fast but now Ain't vape in a jiffy, no doubt. As far as I can tell, flavour is good, ramp time slow, vape production fine (miracle?) but not great.

I use 26G, whatever that is in mm ?
1.0 ohm 3mm inner dia micro chimney coil on my Veritas clone, it's not for blowing sick clouds but it does give very good flavor & decent clouds.
Plus at 1 ohm my 10A 2200mah Panasonic batt lasts all day, vaping 24mg juice, in my Stingray X clone.

Cotton is ok but I prefer Bamboo wick, it is more scorch retardant & wicks faster, it lasts me 5 days before needing a wash.
That's right - WASH, I rince the Bamboo wick under cold running water & it comes out almost perfectly clean, almost like new, then I dry it between some paper towel & re-use it, I can use the same piece of wick for months.

ok, there are many other ways to coil too

your coil looks like this to me 1.49 Ω with Heat capacity 61 mJ/K-1 (bit slow)

if you want more flavor then try a none micro coil
and this below 26g 0.4mm, 12 wraps, 3mm inner diameter coil.
Resistance 1.49 Ω

or do this below , 26g Wraps: 11, SPACING 0.30mm, 3mm diameter of the coil.
Resistance 1.37 Ω will heat up a little faster, Heat capacity 56 mJ/K-1

faster heat up this...
Wraps: 8, Resistance 1.01 Ω Heat capacity 41 mJ/K-1

note that wicking and coiling an rta would be different than on an rda.
- Insert witty signature here.
