Hurricane is leaking
The hurricane leaks slightly from the area shown in the picture (red rectangle). It's just very little, but it's annoying. Does anyone have suggestions to fix it?

Wicking probably, not got one myself so I can't tell you how to, I'd google the atty by name and see if there's a review that shows the best wick methods.

I have the same issue with mine, pretty sure mine isn't leaking but it's a build up of condensation.

Thanks for your reply. Ok, it could be condensation. My first wickings did touch the bottom of the deck and I had the problem with condensation above the AFC ring. Now the wicking goes straight through the coil to the liquid holes without touching the bottom of the deck. Maybe it helps?!?

Might be condensation from inside the base, like some suggested already. Mine does it every now and then, but it really is very minor and only happens after chain vaping, so that indicates it might really be condensation.

You might try to change your wicking technique to reduce it, but it won't probably go away completely.

The Hurricane doesn't require lots of cotton. Stuffing the chamber with cotton will typically increase its tendency to leakage. Best way to wick is by putting the cotton straight through the liquid channels, then fluff the ends, cut them, push them back into the chamber to build some sort of "cushion" at the inner side of the liquid holes.

Cotton should not protrude into the tank at all as this might disturb liquid flow (it can trap air bubbles, especially with higher VG juice, because the space between the liquid holes and the tank is very small). The cotton should just block the liquid holes from the chamber side.

Shitty o-ring….just bung in 17X1 nb70 oring and it will stop.

Also….tighten it fully…..you cant do it with your hands as you'll screw up the airflow…..open the air hole to the largest hole…slide in a small screwdriver and use it as leverage to tighten fully.

I know I'm a little late to this discussion but it might help those looking for a solution who stumble across this thread as I did from a search.

I have a genuine Hurricane 1.3 and that also leaks. Like mariovap said, the o-ring isn't beefy enough. I replaced it with one for a Kayfun Lite and it is a bit thicker and does the job. No more leaking.
