Firmware version?
Has anyone received theirs yet? If so, can you please confirm whether it came with the latest firmware version (v4.02 as of this post)?
I know it's easy to update, but that's only for Win/Mac users. And yes, I also know there are emulators for Linux, but I'd rather not have to do that just to get SS316 temp control on my mod.
Thanks :-)

They added SS316 TC in version 2.0 (for VTC Mini) I think. Even if it's not the very latest firmware release this newer version of the mod mod already supports it.

@bumbleballs - You're absolutely right. The current firmware is 4.02. Thank you.
Why the confusion? When you visit the Joyetech site there's contradicting VTC/Vtwo Mini labels all over the place. Under 'E-Cigarette' when you mouse-over eVic VTC Mini the actual page URL is 'evic-vtwo-mini'. Select the battery only version and the page breadcrumb says eVic-VTC Mini again, but all the text and images are for the VTwo Mini. But click the upgrade firmware link on that page and you get v3.02 because it's actually a link to VTC Mini firmware page.
To get to the ACTUAL VTwo Mini firmware you need to click support >> Software Download >> VTwo Mini. There it's v4.02 as bumbleballs said.
Despite the confusion on Joyetech's site, thanks bumbleballs. You've answered my question :-)

I'm on linux.
IF you ever have to upgrade, wine is probably not a good idea.
Virtualbox with windows 7 is what I used. XP may work. It seems like a lot of effort to install a VM but over time it makes hardware update easier.

Thanks sushi6. I know about Wine/VB. Just trying to be disciplined. Before VB allowed me to revert back to familiar Windows apps to get things done quickly instead of forcing me to learn Linux alternatives. I've been Windows free for two years now. Windows and Linux, like smokes and vaping :-)
