DISCONTINUED???!!!
ARRRGGHHH - why you do this???
BRING IT BACK!!! NOW. Please ;-P

It was a very good, very solid little mod - not fancy - just did what it what it was supposed to day in day out. Took the knocks like a champion and still powered on.
Are they (Joyetech) replacing it with anything??
Please tell me they are.... surely they sold 10's of thousands of these little buggers..... why not just upgrade the chipset and keep rolling the design out as is??
We LIKED IT!!!!

They replaced it with the EVIC Primo Mini and Primo SE a long time ago. Still small. Still does what you need it to do.

Thanks essellar - i saw those two "replacements" - i am not thrilled with either as both have that sloped / angled body shape (from the pictures anyway). But it seems i may have no choice than to try one of them...perhaps they will grow on me if i actually use one.
I guess i am more in to straight lines and boxy-ness....
It seems i am doomed to be perpetually sad that my fave mod is gone the way of the Dodo... :-(

Although I don't own one, SKU 9621377 might be a decent alternative. I own the Battlestar 200w (2 batteries) and it's a very good mod

I'm not conceited, but god knows I have reason to be!

It's a veritable slice of urine to make your own if you don't like what's on offer, you know. If you don't have the skills or tools yourself, you probably know somebody who does. The boards are out there; some cheap, some... not so much. The 510s too. There's nothing about the box that requires it be made of cast zinc. Stabilized wood? Delrin? SLA alumide? Sheet metal? Go for it. Do it right, and it'll outlast anything you can buy off the shelf.

SKU 9640659 would be the closest thing to the vtc/vtwo mini.
Although not arctic compatible.

That works too, I bought 4 vtc mini at a clearance sale and slapped a board in a 21700 BF box.
The biggest problem was the soldiering used by joyetech, it was very strong I had to drill into it.
