Sticking Fire button
I've had this about 2 months and it's worked great for most of it's life, but lately it's been getting stuck on for up to the full duration of the 10s safety shut off. It's not mechanically stuck, the button pops back out, but something going on in the electronics that keeps the power going to the coil and the LED on until it reaches the cut off. This happens about 1/4 of the times the button is pressed.

Anyone have any idea what's going on and if it can be fixed?

did juice get on the board? That's usually what would happen to my vtc minis when juice got in them and on the board. You could take the two screws off the top and see if its wet in there. Or maybe a pebble or something is wedged behind the button and still pushing the button on the board.

I've disassembled and reassembled it a few times and cleaned the button contacts. It's still getting stuck on. I think there's a problem with the electronics, not a mechanical issue with the button it's self. I think it's kaput.

One ideea.
Just open the mod again, take out the button and put it in the other position.
Just switch what side was up to down and give it another try.

Something is malfunctioning with the board or actual button. It's basically a dud now.

Sounds like its the button thats on the board thats at fault. If you take it all apart, you will see the button thats on the board, take off the metal plate that holds the button in place (bend it out from the middle), then you should see a tiny thin concave disk of metal, take that out and make sure its not split in half and that its all clean inside, if its split replace with another one from a faulty mod or + / - button. hope this helps. done this many many times.
