So, I now have my own POMBP (piece of mystery black plastic).

It's only slightly magnetic, doesn't appear to be useful for RFID, is an insulator, and happens to fit nicely inside the battery compartment ... Which makes me wonder if they fit it inside if the mod ships with batteries to isolate them from the mod.

Could just be for viral marketing of course ;)

They put the piece in with atomizers as well and I have seen a few reviews also saying security tag.

I still don't know the answer but I just received my second invoke and the batteries rattle around just a little. Not so in my first invoke. Is it some kind of shim for loose batteries?

I just saw the answer in a review for another eleaf product: On the side of the box where the security code is, it says "lift here" and a little tab pulls up to reveal the number underneath. That tab that was pulled up has an icon or image that looks leaf-like. You put the magnet from inside the box underneath that little flap and you see colored bars. Only one side of the magnet will make them appear so if you don't see it try the other side.
