Ok guys, I'm sold on the invoke over the ikonn, but I have some concerns..

I was reading some reviews on the invoke and apparently, the display is a bit cut off at the bottom. And some people complain of battery drain while it's in standby mode.

Can anyone please verify this information?

Screen cut off is only with people who use custom firmware (google Artic fox firmware).
Battery drain seems to be a fault with a very small fraction of units. I have 3 and none have battery drain in standby.

When my Tesla WYE arrives, I will give away my Invoke, to someone I don't like. And I would never give away my cute little Pico.

What do you have against the invoke? It seems you have something to say, but I Love it so far! I hope I didn't just get lucky with the one I am using at this very moment!

I really like the tesla wye but unfortunately, it can only be adjusted in 0.5w increments. For someone who vapes under 40w and like to fine tune my vaping experience, 0.5w is a large discrepancy.

I'm considering the smoant charon though. Any thoughts?

It's not really bad, a.t.m. I'm actually sucking my Invoke ;-), but especially the fire button and the 510 connector are annoying. Here's my review: https://www.fasttech.com/reviews/9381500/625839. I did not mention yet that sometimes when I change atomizers it does not adjust to the newly mounted atty's resistance. edit: @MitchL

P.S. @ShahinJ: I vape <25 watts, but would even rather see 1 watt increments. Luckily we're all different.

No thanks, though the Charon will probably be a good mod. Smoant is owned by Cloupor, and Cloupor have learned from huge mistakes made in the past like no other company has. Too late to get rid of of their bad reputation name, so they seem to have shifted their activities towards their sister/daughter company Smoant.

If the Wye is not your thing because of the 0.5 watt increments, how about the (recently relisted) Vapor Storm Storm230? SKU 9630496

With the invoke, be aware that you need to remove the batteries if you change the atomizer to reset the resistance. There probably in another way, but that is simple.

If you change the batteries, you have to return a cold atomizer or the resistance seems to lock onto the higher resistance of the coil.

I still love the mod!

Oooh that makes the invoke a definite no-go for me hey. Thanks for that info Mitchl.

Curious though, is that an issue with all invokes, or is it just your mod?
