Battery Cap problem
Hi there,

I love this mod in VW mode, I only have 1 problem :
The battery cap not staying in right position. The batteries can't go out but it's pretty annoying and happens multiple times a day.
I have seen a lot of people complaining about it, and I would like to know if anyone found a workaround.

Thanks

????

I haven't had an problems with the two I currently have. Are you having problems with the battery door staying closed?

If that is the case, the only thing I can think of is that maybe the door was forced shut and not slid into place while in the correct closing position, which in theory could damage the battery door.

I guess it could be defective.

I am sure you can get a replacement battery door from fasttech or the manufacturer, which looks very easy to replace.

Open a ticket with Fasttech. I don't think Fattech will help you anytime soon because of The Chinese New Years Holiday.

Good Luck! This is the first complaint about the battery door I have read so far!

Oh ok, I am surprised since I have seen some complaints on reddit about it.
So basically when I close it, it's all good. But when I for example put in a table (very gently ofc) the little impact makes it move a bit, like in pictures below before/after.

I never realized it did that, because the battery door doesn't open completely. I can confirm that in one of mine as well, but It hasn't caused any problems so far. The batteries stay in place.

indeed it stays in place, but if you put it on a table, it's not stable

Hell, half the time I find mine lying on its side laying on my couch. I don't have any leaking issues with my attys at the moment. I bet an after market battery door could sell if people are having issues with this.

Lets see how long the Eleaf Invoke lasts to see if it will be worth the effort to modify it. So far I still think its a great mod.
