Confused? Regulated or Not?
Hi, I am a little confused. Moldy, who I believe to be a knowledgeable experienced vaper, in his review comments "regulated output signal" and later "The output signal provides a nice vape". DJVillan, who I also believe to be a knowledgeable experienced vaper, comments "this is definitely not a regulated mod", and then explains the differences between a regulated and unregulated mod. So my question is..."does the output have regulation to it, or is the output unregulated and depends entirely on the battery voltage and atomiser resistance?" Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide an answer to this.

This thing never EVER leaves my side! iv had as low as 0.09 and it produces great amount of vapor production

if you had a pico squeeze and hated the little led (which some do) then this might not be for you its pretty bright at night time and thats with the LED off inside the box and just the fire button LED on, i love it would HIGHLY recommend this over ALOT of the same priced cheap a$$ squonkers

Seriously go get it now! ;)

That^ (post 2) and...

depends entirely on the battery voltage and atomiser resistance?

this ^

eta: except Pico Squeeze has both those features too and is compact, and has no funky disco leds

+1 details
Am very content of these I have, the disco leds can be turned off by pressing three times on off button. With its safety provisions the ideal box between a regulated and a mech. You have to build the coil according to the battery.

Thanks gents for the quick response. Just ordered one. Thought I would rather rely on reviews and comments from real people who actually buy stuff and use it, rather than the darn YouTube reviewers, who often say how fantastic stuff is, when in fact it's crap. This mod coupled with an Entheon clone will be my first squonking experience. Been tossing up over the Pulse BF kit for sometime, all the YouTube reviews say minimal volt drop, yet many comments in FT forums say otherwise.I also have a Mad Dog RDA that I have purchased a squonk 510 for. Not sure how it will go? Cant wait for the shipment to arrive to give it a try. Thanks for your help.

A couple of more quick questions. I will be using an EFest 5 prong 20700 3000mAH 30A. What would be a good resistance for a single coil build, to get a decent vape, doesn't have to be huge clouds, and good battery life? I was thinking around .15ohms?

I use the ijoy 20700 as well as the Sony 18650 vtc6. The coil I use for this is a single Alien coil on + - 0.20 ohm for the Entheon ( with pc cap ) and the Hadaly rda , so with a mech mod as with this it is recommended that you get a fast ramp-up time, I personally use always the Ni80 wire for this.

Grant777, if you bought more than one Mad Dog BF pin, then consider buying a Rabies RDA. I have one sat on my Raptor - single coil 0.17ohm with a piece of sellotape over the airflow on the unused side - so unsophisticated.

I've got an Entheon clone sitting on top of my Raptor. Two strand parallel 28ga Kanthal at about 0.5 ohms.

I'm still using HG2's since I have not been able to find a reliable local source for 2x700s. All I can find are overpriced Ijoys at the equivalent of $17 each.
