I'd guess the included cable is a 7-19 which means it has 7 strands of 19 wires in the cables construction. You may find that a 7-7 cable will allow for the thicker liquid to be wicked better as the voids within the cable are larger.

You'll want non-coated stainless steel cable and clean it extensively. Wrapping the cable with stainless mesh can help as mentioned.

I think that people think that their way of vaping is the only way of vaping. Wattage or voltage does not affect wicking, i think most would agree. However, vaping at 80 watts would dry out your cotton much faster than someone vaping at 20 watts. Most people that buy a German style top coiler vape at higher ends of the spectrum, requiring more wicking. I talk from experience, not theory.

Knowing what something is by reading a definition does not automatically make it applicable to every situation.

Besides the generalizations a search for the physics of convection may benefit you.

thanks. More "science" with no experimentation.

not in the mood for riddles, either you own one of these and you can share your experience...or you can't.

I'm sharing experience, not quite the same way you are.

no, youre clogging up this thread with off topic bullshit, like your many "aluminum is deadly" posts. You can do better. Either you own one of these or you don't, backpeddling and diverting does little to hide the fact that you obviously don't. Otherwise, you wouldn't be using words like "guess" and "may" at the beginning of your sentences, correct?

Half the people on this thread seem confused about wicking anyway. How does mesh wicking give you better flavor?.

Well i guess my flavor issue came from not enough juice flow.
after throwing out the ropes and put in pure mesh ss rolled (mesh 300). it is working flawless now.
It is my first time using ss ropes and mesh. but mesh works alot better in my experience.
Took a tank of juice to get started but going strong even after 200ml juice.
really sucking up the juice.
on this tank i stay between 45-48 watt with a 0.28 ohm coil.
the ropes couldnt make enough flow with 80/20 juice but the mesh does. no need for me to tilt anymore and no problems with chain vaping.

Glad you're getting along with it now. Oh, people around here are internet search scientists, no doubt, but everyone does try to help "in their own way" lol'

You tilt it without thinking about it constantly, i'm sure...it helps immensely with wicking. Normal RDTASs wick fine but these guys are TALL and there's nothing wrong with helping it out a little. I myself feel that mesh looks ugly in the tank, so I choose cables, but as long as it works--great

Many people do not feel the cables wick sufficiently. I am not one of them, but I concede that these atties need a little more "proactive" treatment than a brain-dead sub ohm tank or even a RTA. Hope you continue to enjoy the Mato...I may purchase one when they go into clearance.

EDIT i ordered one, couldnt help it. Didnt even think this was single coil...this should wick very well in theory with one coil. Will revisit later.

yeah the 1 coil thing was the reason why i bought it in the first place, thinking what could possible go wrong,
ha ha.
Have for a while been looking for something BIG juice capacity, for when i drive my car and this tank on the topside. really does the trick.
I have tried tilting it with ropes but for my chain vaping needs. Not sufficient enough.
Actually i like the mesh more, it is harder to see the mesh than the ropes in the color my juice is.

Looking forward to hear how it will work out for you.
