No, they're not compatible - they're about 10mm too long. Apart from that, it depends which T18E coils you're talking about. The originals are pretty much the same thing, just in a shorter body. The newer ones are a BVC design rather than a top horizontal dual coil. There are benefits to both, depending on the flavour profile you like. Bright fruits and bold tobaccos tend to prefer the top-coil design; desserts, custards and the like are often fuller-tasting using a BVC.
