Clapton Mesh coil heads!!
what utter nonsense. Obviously a gimmick to sale you the sub tank. More importantly what stock coils fits this? At least then you can have realistic ideas about what you can vape through this.

Clapton mesh coils for the Augvape intake subohm tank are very impressive, been vaping on one with a really sweet custard for nearly 5 weeks and the flavour is still good

Ok. I'll bite. What is a Clapton mesh? A Clapton coil with a mesh core, or what?

It's basically a piece of mesh postioned in a circle inside a coil head.

To make it work it needs to be bombarded with air from the side, unlike regular stock coils where the air goes from the bottom up like in a chimney.

To achieve that with the coils for this tank (SKU 9728633, SKU 9728634) there are airflow tubes/inserts provided with the tank that are meant to be placed inside the coil heads.
These inserts are covered on top and the air is directed to the sides.

IMO, calling them clapton mesh coils is a little misleading, as least for those who are familiar with regular mesh coils, as the "claptoning" only consists of three strings of metal holding the coil wires together.

So basically a vertical mesh coil, where the "mesh" is comprised of wavy horizontal elements, with vertical supports/conductors, instead of being normal mesh, or a helical coil. There is no microwire wound around the horizontal wavvy parts though. The airflow is irrelevant, as it is an aspect of the atomizer.

Thank you, I think I got it.
