The MAP code is now available old boy.

It brings the price of the Evolv AIO down to $123.95 and the Sevo chip version to $94.41.

It's twelve inches long, but don't use it as a rule...

Often it takes at least a day to work.

I'm just wondering what makes the Sevo chip version 30$ more worthy than the BXR...

Uhh because it's SXK?

When compared to the BXR, it's probably the mod itself that makes up the difference in price, not the electronics. I'm more surprised at the $30 difference between the Sevo70 and DNA60.

I'm taking the plunge on this bad boy, always a risk on the first run of a product. But someone has to do it lol

Likely because the ION clone is aluminum and the BXR clone is PET.

I'm curious to see how is the finish on this one. Especially on the silver one. It's not the habituel anodised aluminium, which is rather good. (hopefully)

Specs say: aluminium alloy. Is that smth we've seen so often on industrial looking TC mods, sometimes great, sometimes not at all so great. Aluminium alloy can be cheap. Or not. (?)
However, the silver one looks good on these "pictures provided by manufacturers".

Actually, it's not such a daft stance to take, as experience has taught us that products with a choice of Evolv and non-Evolv boards usually have the Evolv versions sell out quite quickly. :-)

I rather see it as following up with the pricing after their BB clone.

LOL, the DNA version went to a 15 days ETA

Anyway, how nice is it, if I ordered the DNA version, it adds 20$ VAT to it.
(15$ for the Sevo version)
