Great choices i have both and they are my fav's, no pointless blinky strobbie sos clicks to wade thru the lowest setting ideal for close up reading etc, higest setting turns night to day, lf you want a lot more throw add a c8+ sst40 to the mix along with an s2+ uv and filter and your complete

How does an 18650 fit in the s21a? I dont see an adapter included. Does it "flop" around in there? heh

not sure mine didn't come with an adapter or sleeve ,i run a 21700 in it, but honestly prefer the c8+ for the 18650 factor and the massive throw ,search and rescue style, temp step down, memory mode, form factor is perfect.s2+ is better pocket fit, fair warning tho ,,,,you cant stop at one just like vape mods

I have the 1st one of the 2 you listed and it is the best one i have got from here, 21700, 4 stages varying from extremely bright all the way down to a more modest beam, button is very responsive to ON/OFF and toggling brightness modes.

On its brightest setting it does become EXTREMELY hot.... so beware of that, but it is designed to be able to handle it.

For the price it is a steal.

Highly recommended.

I have had a convoy s2+ for so long I don't remember when I bought it here. It is probably different spec that the one you posted but it has seen edc on a farm in a desert locale for maybe 4 or 5 years. Bullet Proof, (well almost).
I'm out.....have some fun. Eh?

Does the amp rating of a 18650 or 21700 matter as much as with vaping with the S21A i just ordered?

Yes, I dont know how many amps this flashlight pulls on high but i would not be surprised if it was in the region of 10-15 amps.

I use a Samsung 40T flat top in mine.

Best to be safe than sorry.
