GANZO G727M-BK: An Axis Lock Ontario RAT 1, sure why not?
The blade looks a little more drop-point than the original and not 4-way pocket clip mounting either.

Great price if decent quality.

So the blade isn't the same shape and the handle is different - Axis lock not liner lock, not a RAT 1 copy then.
About the same way a SanRenMu 710/7010 is a Sebenza copy, not at all.

No, this time it's really more of a copy.
The differences are even smaller than between CRKT M16 & Gerber Evo.

I like the design of the RAT 1. If only the prices were on a similar level to those in the USA.
EDC gear has them for between £35 to £40 depending on finish. I've always promised myself one one day. As I really like my budget options in knives the RAT 1 is just outside my budget.

I didn't mean my other post in a derogatory way but the Sebenza - SanRenMu 710/7010 being described as a copy really annoys me, compare them closely and they are very different and appeal to very different markets.
There comes a point when all knife makers design something and it is inevitable that similarities creep in, there are only so many ways to construct a knife.

For the $16 asking price on here they will sell well. As to fit and finish Ganzo has really upped their game recently. Two years ago I had only the G-712, now I have a box full. If the quality is anything near the G-720 and the new model G-704 then the knife will be a good one.

Even the "cheapie" G-620 models are excellent quality and with assisted opening as well, a bit of a bargain for $9, I bought one and was so impressed that I have all six styles.

A few years ago I found Ganzo to be lacking in the quality control department, not any more.

Again I;m sorry if my first post came off as a bit aggressive it wasn't meant to be.

I have the G727M-GR, the green scaled version, en-route from that store that sells the best gear. As you said $12 shipped to your door. Incredible good value. Also the G726 for $11.

The Ontario knives aren't that great. I had one of the Joe Pardue line, and wasn't hugely impressed. The only appeal was JP, as I have had his Toggle folder for years, and love it.

For the money the Ganzo knives are great, I would like to know how they survive a torture test though.
