I figured it was because of some kind of shipping regulations, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense if other companies in China are still using the other options. Plus I think on all of my other knives they put "Electronic equipment" or something on the package. lol I don't think they labeled them as knives in any case. Maybe they got in trouble for it so knives are blacklisted for them? I dunno... doesn't make a lot of sense otherwise. Working...

Maybe the higher p+p for knives is a higher percentage of those parcels are intercepted---have you been ordering illegal in your country items???? so they have to cover themselves by spreading loses around in p+p costs. Or maybe the shipper just screws FT on the deal and just as FT 'pass on the savings' in this case they 'pass on the butthurt' to knife shoppers--- fair enough don't see why vapers should pay higher to subsidise replacing knife shoppers confiscated parcels.
