The trap showed up a day early. Somewhat irritated it didn't come with the setting tool, but found it pretty fucking easy without it once you learn. Didn't expect the spring to be that strong, I wouldn't be surprised if it broke bones. Found some big pliers I can use to reach and open the trap without getting my hands close to whatever animal. Still need to figure how to get em into a cage.

What might work... If I had the trap staked outside a cage and had it laying already in the cage.

Knock knock, let the devil in. Malevolent as I've ever been, head is spinnin'. This medicine's screamin', "L-l-l-let us in!"

Just poison it and it will wander off somewhere else and die.

That sounds like a genius idea. Feed it through the cage so I can yank em in. That just solved all the problems.

Not trying to poison the possums, just the coons.

Animal control in most cities will loan/rent you a trap.

20$ a night and 30$ for them to come and remove it. Your not allowed to touch the trap or remove it.

Factor in, I shoot a few a week and more still come, 50$ a night times 3 = 150$. Times 4, 600$ a month. Eh kiss my ass.

Given the expenses, one could wish to become an animal control oneself. Top tier paw traps pays off in less than 2 weeks!

The answer to 1984 is 1973 § Panasonic or Samsung - that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer.
