At this point it seems crystal clear that a lot of us are going to die. Those of us who do survive will probably get to "live" out our days in a neofeudalist tech hellscape controlled by the Zuckerbergs, Musks and Bezos of the world. We're already halfway there by my crude estimations.

I doubt even they will survive. I'm not usually sceptical but I do believe it's too late to change anything now.
