I’m in, it might be a very little group though, there aren’t too many “readers” on here.
That's awesome! Have barely read anything myself the last decade for health related reasons so I'm grateful for the motivation.
If you want to join me in following David Harvey you can get his companion in book form from your retailer of choice or in the form of free lectures available in video as well as audio format (homepage, also available on YouTube and podcast apps). His courses uses the Penguin Classics edition if you need to get a new copy of Capital (don't think it matters all that much honestly).
Keep in mind that I have barely organized anything in my life, and never successfully. Capital is quite the slog, especially the first few chapters where he outlines his method in the driest terms possible, so I suggest that we start kinda slow. How does two chapters a month sound (month one, introduction and chapter 1; month two, chapter 2 and 3 and so on)?
Lastly, I don't want you to feel committed in any way. If the thread ends up being me discussing a book I don't understand with myself that's totally fine. It wouldn't be the weirdest thread I have started by a long shot ;).
