OP, next time you find yourself in this situation, you have to be a little more "creative" when contacting FT about a defect which cannot be conveyed (or safely conveyed) in a video, such a mech mod with a hard short. I can't really publicly tell you exactly what you could have done, but just think about it for a minute.
Vaper buys pod system, asks for a 510 adapter. LOL for days

Any time I browse again the latest threads I have to laugh at this. It's a very dramatical title =D

Staff always asks for a video for to prove that something wrong. That's the first phase of the procedure with them.

Here we are. While FT declares what problem solving is as easy as posting few photos, they actually have us to make videos which sometimes is very cumbersome.

BTW, poor quality mechs should be cheap regardless to whatever local vapeshop clerks says on the subject.
Mechs are just an overpriced pieces of cheap metal plus a push button.

As i said "the procedure"...
I hate making videos, and got nothing to make better quality ones. Don't know how, but when some photos are enough, I always managed to persuade staff members that those photos are plenty enough to show the issue, no problems there. When it's really necessary (to make some effort), I send them some really bad videos, they never complained or made my case more difficult, they were fine with it.

Mechs are just an overpriced pieces of cheap metal plus a push button.

Viva the electronics! lol!

And I guess you think that electronic boards and chips are drawn by a pencil =D

If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

That was a pretty silly remark. Ever had to cut a trace and then repair it back?

Still, for thin brass tube with threaded hole $11 is not even cheap.
