Why round wire?
If round wire is how you wanna go, why not maximize it's potential in a dual coil, 22mm atty? There's the original M-Atty clone, by Kindbright SKU 6530091, as well as some other versions as well.
There is Coppervape excellent DB Mods Royal rda SKU 9679054, which is super cheap!
if you want 24 or 25mm, any of them will easily hold a simple round build, no problems...Asgard mini, Reload X, the list is endless...but they are capable of much more...buy some premade Aliens around 3mm ID and go for it.

To be honest I am a bit confused. I got some Sony VCTA5 25A batteries and I want to run a dual battery dual coil setup. I asked around on reddit and this was the answer I got.
"4.2V/25A
= 0.168 ohms resistance
Try to use coils no lower than 0.17 ohms and if you're going dual coil get two 0.36 ohm coils."
Did he mean 2 separate coils at 0.36 ohm or the total ohm resistance of 2 coils? So I have been looking at wires and solutions but I am a bit lost.

If you use a dual parallel configuration, you could in theory go to 0.084 ohm. 4.2/50 = 0.084 ohm.
If however, your configuration, is dual in series limit yourself at 0.336. 8.4/25 = 0.336.

Yes, 2 coils at .36 each coil. for instance, if a coil resistance is .2, then two of those coils would be half that, .1. if i was you, i would search for premade coils between .35 and .5, if you ar using a regulated mod. that will leave you safe, have decent battery life, and give an excellent vape. Please post any more questions here, we will try to help. I recommend Ni80 for coil material, due to fast heat up. Look for aliens, claptons, and braided...they are where you will get the best flavor

I just got another answer, that the rules of ohms law and resistance doesn't matter too much if I am using a regulated mod which I am. I should be fine as long as I am in the mods ohm parameters.
That means I'm ok?

Regulated is much safer, so yes, but you are still bound to the amp discharge level of your cells. My answer above is 100% a great guideline for you, regardless of mod style. I would disregard this "new answer" you got, because no mod will save you from battery thermal overload - which is caused by exceeding your battery amp limits...
keep your build at .15 or above...it will be safe, warm, and thick and cloudy...if you like a cooler vape, build higher.

And remember, .15 would be one coil at .15, or 2 coils at .3 each. Good luck!
