Lost Vape Grus

Solid, screwed in 510 plate and soldered 510 connector. Tall and heavy. Look for the revised version with the updated chip from the Ursa if you choose this as your new mod.

Augvape Foxy One

Solid mod but 510 plate is not screwed in, only press fitted. No TC, only wattage, voltage or bypass mode. Tiny, non colour screen, smaller than the Armour Pro.

For the wattage you vape at - pretty much any single 18650/21700 mod would be good - provided it isn't battery voltage output only. Personally I'd go for either an Aegis Solo or Aegis Max as they're pretty rugged.

I'd just look around to see what takes your fancy - just make sure you check the spec sheets, if it quotes wattage output and battery voltage operating range but doesn't quote voltage output then avoid it as it will be shit.

Aegis Max or Solo, since you are a clutz.

Both are the same mod really, only difference is that the Max is slightly bigger since it takes a 21700 batt (you can use an 18650 with included adapter) and the buttons are MUCH better on the Max.

That is 500% false.

SKU 9682697. Pretty sure the chasis is plastic (it's really light), but the 510 is solid. Don't think you can mess around with temp curves and stuff like that

You can if you install Arctic Fox firmware.

Hi guys, as the title said I need a new mod and I have no idea what to get.My requirements are very simple, I vape MTL at 20-25W, must work with 18650 batteries (I bought tons of them before realizing they last for ages at the wattage I vape) and must have a screwed in (possibly soldered) 510 connector because I drop my mod on the desk constantly...I previously owned a Vaporesso Armour Pro (and thanks to you guys for suggesting it to me 2 years ago!) and worked fantastic, the shape, functionality (with it's adjustable curves for fast rising temperature at the press of the button) everything worked great. Until the screw holes for the 510 connectors got destroyed since they were made of... plastic. I try to be careful but I'm just like that...Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

Jackaroo if you can still find it but not sure where your based. 510 sits under the massive top plate so no chance of it breaking off. I too am a clumsy vaper.

I have both the Aegis Max and the Aegis Solo but the Max is very large in that it needs a large/wider atomizer on top, that requires more wattage, whilst the Solo does not.

For the OPs vaping style, I would think that the Solo would be more suited than the Max.

Holy sh%t! Thank you so much for all the replies, you guys are being really helpful. The Aegis, Cold Steel 100 and the Lost Vape Grus all look like comfortable and sturdy mods, but first I prefer to check online if someone disassembled them to check the connector. This is going to be my 5th mod, previous 4 all died because of connector issues.

I can assure you, it's 100% correct, I wound't be here if it wasn't. Take a look

Yup. I made the battery voltage only output mistake with an iJoy Capo Squonker - one of the first 21700 '100 Watt' budget friendly devices that I thought would be amazing - it wasn't.

Sorry, I didn't read properly. You said, screw holes. I thought you said they were plastic screws.

You could probably fix that with some JB weld to fill in the cracked hole. then when it hardens you could drilled a hole smaller than the screw threads and then screw into that. It should hold for a little while.

The Max takes 21700, like the OP's old mod.

Also, "needs" is subjective in this instance. The mod works with an atty of any size. It doesn't "need " a 30mm atty.

Retarded looking? Well yes.

A old trick us handymen types use is to use short lengths of toothpicks (or wood slivers), insert them inside the screw holes, put it together, and screw it down. If done right, the screws will bite into the wood, filling the hole and making it tight upon assembly.

Stiil, you need a new mod, so buy a really expensive rare mod, that way you'll never ever drop it.
