Meh.

If we all spent sensibly we would buy nothing but food.

People find multiple ways to live beyond their means - its nothing new.

I have a friend who finds it hilarious that on average I buy a mod and a tank or two every month and regularly stock up on wires, coils, spares, batteries etc. even though my collection could stock a small shop. The same friend buys a new car every 3 years, always hits the options list for larger metro-sexual wheels, handling packs, pearlescent paint and miscellaneous useless shit that achieves nothing as 99% of his driving is commuting in rush hour traffic and does little for resale value - of course he finances it.

When he ridicules me because I get another vape toy in the post I ask him why he doesn't stop fucking around and actually buy a car with his own money instead of paying through the nose each month for something he will never own. It always shuts him up.

Cigarettes are really expensive these days where I live now. When I quit smoking I allowed myself to spend roughly 25% of (what used to be) my tobacco budget on vape gear: juice, consumables and equipment. That’s roughly US€ 50 / month.
Haven’t managed to spend that much in the 5-6 years since I quit smoking.
Vaping is good, it’s fun, it’s healthier and also it’s cheaper. That’s my experience.
Don’t know about metrosexual shinyitism but it really sounds like judgemental bs to me.

After buying a few bits in my first year vaping, I realized that they all pretty much do the same thing.

Press button, vapour comes out. Woohoo.

No shinyitis here 😁

If buying an rta instead of 50-100g of golden Virginia every week stops me from smoking then its healthy. Different rizla, different tobacco, matches, zippos, butane torches, different filters that's all been replaced for me with vape shit.

Diy's the main thing though. Started not long after I started vaping (a protank maybe? And two ego's) and I still get a buzz out of jotting some shit down on a piece of paper, mixing it up and for it to taste shit hot.

Basically there's allways something interesting and for me it's more interesting than smoking so it works.

Mmmm, golden virginia, that was the good shit, but i only smoked 40g/6days. Loved to roll my own cigarettes, now i love to make my juices and coils (even if it's only simple rund wire builds.).
Funny thing that i switched to vaping to save money not to get healthier. Worked out for a a few years, could work now too, but I realy wanted to buy that Legend2.... aaaand countles other stuffs that I probably won't even touch after a month or so :D

Actually, that's quite a lot. I used to get through just over a hundred grammes of Samson a month myself when I smoked! :)

It's twelve inches long, but don't use it as a rule...

True. I knew several who did smoke that much. They didn't so much roll cigarettes, but something resembling cigars!! LOL!! :-D
