I do understand what you are talking about, but the demand isn't there.

I'm sure there are a handful of people that still use exactly the same build and vape at the same voltage as they have for years. But they are a minority - as hobbyist vapers are only a small percentage of all vapers, they are a minority of a minority so it makes little commercial sense to make products for them.

Your best chances of finding the type of device you are looking for is to join a few Vape Forums (NOT Fasttech where the majority of members just come here to squabble and ridicule each other) and start a Wanted style thread as there normally members who have vaped for years who have plenty of old equipment they no longer use.

Right? A regulated 22mm tube mod ~70mm in height, replaceable 18650, simple control for voltage. I'd buy a dozen.

With this feature, the mod is still not a regulated mod, but very close to a regulated mod.
If users would like VW/VV at e.g. the Atto, it is also possible,
the Atto has a side fire button, which can be used to adjust VW/VV.
The space on the existing chip will be perhaps too small for VW/VV,
a second deck (chip) would perhaps need 4mm,
but we gain 2-3mm because we dont need the bottom on/off.
The question is, how to use VW/VV without a screen?

I checked the LostVape webside, I dont see the innovation for tube mods.

As an 18650 is 65mm in length asking a manufacturer to make a 70mm tube to house an 18650 which has a battery cap at one end and use a standard floating 510 connection at the other only using 5mm would be a challenge. If you measure the length of the 510 on any atty they are approximately 4mm long - and this must be able to screw into the mods 510 and not come into contact with the battery..

The same applies with the width a 22mm tube - an 18650 is 18mm wide, this would leave less than 4mm to fit a chip and wiring (which must be enclosed).

You're asking for something the size of a SMPL mech mod to be fully regulated and house an 18650.

Something like this could be manufactured but forget using an 18650 - to keep the dimensions so small the only realistic approach would be to use an 18350 or a compact cylindrical lipo, then you would be limited to low Amp MTL vaping and 1500mah max capacity.
