18650 Mech Mod Fuse
Are there any fuses available for tube mech mods (like the 2Cents one)?
One that can be directly placed under the battery.

If you want a tube mod with "KICK"-like protection, check out THC's Tauren mechs, with "X chip", or the Trishul V2 with mosfet chip.

Now, there are also several tube shaped mosfet mods that offer safety features. In fact, they are becoming more popular and plentiful all the time.

Chips take up space, so a mod must be elongated to support it. Telescoping mods aren't much of a thing anymore either, so your best bet is to buy a 30.00 mosfet tube, and be done with it!

Be safe.

I would, but after 7 years with the same old 69 clone, can't bring myself to change. I've always used with a kick & 18500, but would like to try a 18650 for longer duration.

Thanks.

Change is good. If you've only used 18500 cells, you've probably never had a "good" hit from that 69, lol!

There are several small "Atto" style mosfet tubes available as well, for 20.00...I would take a chance, when possible. Obviously you have other options available, because kicks have been MIA for many years. As long as you are not smoking, you're better off...

Good luck!

Thanks.

When your (Kamry Kick II ?) kick has a high of 18mm and the 18500 battery 50mm = 68mm.
A 18650 battery with protection (PCB = fuse) is 69mm long.
The 69mm will work on all my old telescoping tube mech mods.

Btw. these protected batteries had years ago only max 5A, today I saw a 18650 X..... with 10A and 3.500mAh. And these longer 69mm 18650 with PCB should fit any 18650 + 20700 or 18650 + 21700 tubes for pure mech mods. That means, if you have a short in your mod, it does not mean to buy a new chip for your chip mod, there are e.g. no more chips for the Atto on FT.
