I'll bet that was one hell of a hit with a .2 single coil! Jesus!

First mod I owned was a MCM clone, way back in the day...I did the same thing immediately - I threw a "normal", .18 or so build rda on top, and coughed for a minute straight! Burnt juice, burnt cotton, burnt tongue! But, I learned....

Cherry Bomb!

+1 details
When i go series, i also choose a rda with a rather deep juice well since you really dont want a dry hit on a series build.

A 0.4 will be SAFE but not necessarily ideal for someone asking how to duplicate a 60 Watt vape on a series mech.

One way that is also safe is to build to considerably higher ohms and, if necessary, remove wraps until the sweet spot is found.

He may well end up finding a 0.4 ohm build on a series mech is to his liking, but it is often better for someone used to a 60 watt vape to start with a higher ohm build in a series mech and go progressively lower ohms to find his personal preference, instead of starting low and steadily going higher until his throat stops burning.

He thinks he vapes 60W, but he vapes 80W with his existing mod.
0.8 to 0.97 for 80W would be OK for a series mod with one coil.

But hilarious!

It could be he was previously vaping at 60 Watts on a regulated mod...

The fact that he took a hit on a newly purchased series mech with a 0.20 ohm build in a single coil RTA indicates he may have forgotten ohms law or be a newbie to series mechs. He could have made an absent minded mistake of course, but if he did I bet he doesn't forget again for a long, long time.

If he uses a mech, he doesnt vape at a constant wattage. The fact that he mentioned 60w means that he uses a reg mod at 3,46 volt on a reg mod with 0.2 ohm.
