PROS
clean cool-white beam, fairly tight hotspot, bright.
CONS
very faint rings in the "spill" part
I wanted some 1-mode drop-ins to replace the usual 5-mode modules included with standard UF hosts, especially to get rid of the useless epilepsy-inducing blinky-modes like strobe and SOS, so got this module and part 1159800 as a companion, to see which I like more.

It can all be summarised in the "Pro" section, as it's got a nice white clean beam with a pretty tight hotspot, and some useful spill to make it a nice general-purpose flashlight. My Foursevens is a better EDC light because it starts off in firefly mode, then goes low, medium, high, and epilepsy-mode (yuck!), else "turbo" with a slight twist of the head, but a great hot 1-mode light is perfect to grab'n'go, to see what's making that noise in the backyard, to go spelunking in a cellar or attic, etc.

The smaller reflector does a pretty good job squeezing the light into a pretty small hotspot, and will get you some nice throw. The smooth reflector will get you a nice circle of light, but with some faint rings and some color artifacts (not so much as to be annoying or distracting). Granted, not much can beat the perfect-circle of a C8 and its bigger reflector, but this module does a pretty good job trying. All in all, it's a pretty good compromise, and makes for a great go-to flashlight.

If you don't want that tight of a hotspot, or if even the faintest rings in the beam bother you, go for an orange-peel reflector vs smooth.

One note: this comes with a sticker that claims 3-18V, vs just "4.2V" in the specs above. Personally, I don't trust any module to handle more than 1 Li cell unless I actually *see* the inductor on the driver board and know it's a switcher, vs just a control chip and a bunch of '7135s to limit current.

I'll leave it to someone else to test it and see if it'll handle any 2S or 3S battery-packs. :D

PROS
Buen modulo para mis linternas, no necesito tener 5 modos de luz, con uno me basta y con este modulo cumplo mis espectativas. Good modulo for my flashlights, I do not need to have 5 modes of light, with one I am enough and with this module I fulfill my expectations.
CONS
No le observo ningún contra. I do not see any against him.
He cambiado mis modulos de 5 posiciones a este de 1 sola posición en todas mis linternas y así evito tener que se cambien de potencia cuando menos lo necesito. Un gran modulo con excelente relación calidad-precio. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

I have changed my 5-position modules to this one-position position in all my flashlights and thus avoid having to change power when I least need it. A great module with excellent value for money. I recommend it without a doubt.
