PROS
Will last forever because there's no parts to break on it. Easy to use with arthritis/or lack of dexterity Makes tight coils even if the wire isn't burnt off first [you can do it later] Comes with 5 sizes for coiling
CONS
The spinner was off kilter to the handle. Works fine but aesthetically annoying Takes a bit of getting used to Pricier than the pencil-style
I like this jig for a lot of reasons. The tin box is a bonus for making coils ahead of time and tucking them in there until needed. It can be used as a stable 510 holder for an atty deck.

While it looks complicated, it really is not. It takes a little getting used to figuring out where your fingers hold the wire but you can also add one of the posts you aren't using into the extra post hole and keep your wire on there unspinning to make several coils at a time. It winds well enough that you don't even have to burn the springyness out of the wire if you feel lazy and can just do that later, if you want.

The five choices of coil size diameter can come in handy, too. It's sturdy and I doubt it will ever need replacing since it's quite simple mechanically so there isn't much to break. It makes tensioned micro coil building easy even if you aren't very dexterous.

This is perfect for making parallel coils. You can easily prevent the wires from overlapping and can maintain a good tension while coiling. The end result is perfect parallel coils with a minimum of effort. For regular coils a coilmaster-type jig works fine and is faster to use, but if you run parallels, this is the jig to get. Handles thick gauge wire just fine (just attach directly to the screw without going through the pilot hole).

Decent build quality. It's all aluminum, but the machining is decent, and everything threads in pretty smoothly. Nice selection of build rod diameters to cover all the bases.

Does coils Does perfect coils Does perfect coils really really fast
Will enable you to easily produce perfect tight wound coils, even with clapton wire in seconds. No really - 30 seconds max to make a perfect coil. If you do it under tension it will not even need pinching and strumming when you install it as it is produced already pinching itself like an extension spring. Which is nice.

The best part : You can apply some tension on your coil.
Great for mesh build since you can build your coil completely tight
