This thing really is small - if you carry it loose it almost disappears in your hand and is difficult to operate one-handed. The finish is an attractive metallic blue, there are o-rings where they need to be - around the lens, between head and body - BUT the threads are perhaps a bit loose here and to be sure of switching off the head must be unscrewed quite a bit, and the o-ring here is almost exposed (it is possible the battery tube is a bit too long here).

The information on the packaging is quite clear that this is for AAA or NiMH only - a 10440 Li-ion cannot be used. Note that in spite of the space for one, it does not come with a battery - probably to make shipping easier
