I dropped my vape (something I seem to do a lot - never intentionally of course, I'm just a clumsy pillock) onto the floor once, from sitting-down height, and this drip tip shattered into many pieces. Like I said, I drop my stuff a lot but this is the only time I've destroyed a drip tip as a result. Also it's pretty pricey for a DT. That said I'm still ordering another one cos I don't exactly have any other options if I want to use my Melo 300 atty. Meh.

PROS
Taste Lifespan Price TC Compatability No leaking 99% of the time Cloud production (might be a drawback for some) Tank compatability - this fitting seems to be the most universally used coil size of all manufactured/stock sub-ohm non-rebuildable tanks Reliability/Consistency - never had a duff/DOA coil
CONS
Get pretty hot pretty quickly Slightly longer break-in / priming period, during which the cotton has a pretty harsh taste. But after that it's ALL GOOD and hardly much of a drawback IMO.
Taste is incredible - even on par with a few RTA clapton coils I've built. Also the most flavourful of all the OBS V* range (I've tried them all except the V10 (which I believe is on-par with the V12s anyway) and are definitely more flavoursome than the OBS V12's) if not all coils of this size altogether Lifespan - it's very refreshing to have manufactured coils that last 2-3 weeks on average and don't cost a load either. This is FLAVOUR lifespan btw. Price - this is the cheapest I've found for the OBS V-x range of coils - V4, V8, V10, V12 - (once Gearbest discontinued selling them) - and furthermore, are FAR cheaper than any of the official SMOK coils TC Compatible - I believe these are stainless steel cos they perform pretty good in temp. control on SS mode (with a little fiddling around with settings eg. TCR etc.). I've bought a shitload of these. I still need to try the Sense Blazer 200 range of coils (same fitting) but I'll be surprised if they surpass these by any noticeable amount; these are more than delicious enough to use exclusively IMO. I got the RBA coil for my Melo 300 which I used for a bit but there was little improvement over these regarding flavour, considering the fiddling around and how increasingly more prone to leakage it was. Oh just make sure to prime the shite out of them - leave to soak in juice for a good >5 mins (maybe 10 to be safe) and as it says on the packaging, start the watts out LOW - I start them out at 80 or 90 watts until I'm happy they're broken in which usually takes about half to two-thirds of a tankful of juice... else you risk burning the cotton and negatively affecting its flavour output or flavour-lifespan.

FWIW I've read reports online of other people describing the same thing - that these 4ml glass-tanks don't fit the Scottua RTA. Though I am talking about the Scottua RTA *CLONE*, as I've never actually encountered an authentic 30mm Scottua RTA on Fasttech or anywhere else online really. Apparently it's super expensive, and the clone is actually far more commonplace than the original which is why I'm giving this one star. The 10ml replacement glasses fit the Scottua RTA clone no problem so just stick with those as long as you don't mind the gargantuan size too much (I don't, cos this atty - and the mod large enough to sit it on - is 90% an at-home setup for me).

PROS
Stylish appearance Incredibly light/portable (feels good in your hand) Super clear, easy to use interface Plenty of features and adjustable settings Fully functional Temp Control settings The price / bang-for-buck
CONS
Battery door feels a LITTLE flimsy Battery-life reading is way too optimistic "glass-half-full" (albeit consistently so)
This is a great little mod, especially for the price; you get a lot of power and features for your money, the kind you'd expect to pay a lot higher for. The best thing about this mod is its almost-incomprehensibly light mass - it feels enjoyable to hold and is perfect for out-and-about usage, especially considering its 160W max power output. The Temp Control options are great. There's no 60w or 80w power limit in TC mode like I've found with other, much higher-output mods. There's a rudimentary TCR-setting which is often referred to as "nickel purity" mode, although I'd need to look further into it. Biggest complaint is the battery-life reading. For instance, the LCD shows 75% battery when the batteries are actually around 20%. This creates a problem whereby the display reading will drop from 75% to flat-out nothing in barely any time whatsoever, and I've already bricked a pair of 1500mAh HB6's as a result of accidentally fully-discharging past the point of no return. It's something worth keeping an eye out for and as a result I'm a lot more cautious and now swap the batteries as soon as I see a slight drop in the battery reading; now that I'm aware of the problem it's not really an issue anymore. Overall it's still my favourite, most-used mod (and I have quite a few, fairly more expensive mods as well) and a top piece of kit which - for the most part - looks and feels good. Did I mention this thing is light as a feather? The faux-leather textured door is a nice-looking addition but feels a little cheap. It rocked ever so slightly in place with the door on, and I had to re-glue one of the magnets back onto the door to hold it shut; a very minor problem which can be all too common with magnetically-closing battery doors but was easily fixed with minimal effort. That said, despite these pretty insignificant design faults, it's still hands down the best mod in this price range and I am definitely going to buy another. As for the magnet issue FastTech also sells entire replacement doors separately for next to nothing, so I'll probably throw one or two of those in with my next order too, if for no other reason than having the option to alternate with different colour schemes depending on my mood and matching-colour drip tips.
