I seldom write reviews but this product is Edith it. The metal is thick and not flimsy, and the finish is a beautiful satin chrome. The light is very bright and direct via the lense. The lamp is 220v input, but I used it in a motorhome using 12v. I simply added a dc-dc converter instead of the supply power supply. If the unit would have been 120v that would have been better for our North American system, but the workaround was simple. I highly recommend thus product, and receive nothing for my recommendation.
