PROS
it works just as well as the genuine fits the RBA heads and tanks just fine
CONS
doesn't have the smallest airflow hole airflow control ring doesn't slide smoothly at all (actually takes a lot of effort to move it)
It's good enough and if you plan to buy the bellcaps and RBA/RDA heads separately, is much cheaper than buying the real thing. That said, I only bought it to do rebuilds on and am pleasantly surprised how well it works. I don't use the smallest airflow hole anyway.

I use this to build on my Kanger subtank RBA heads. Protip: remove the center pin from a Kanger Base and put it in upside down, screw the Kanger Subtank Base on the Pilot Vape. Kanger Subtanks are all I use so it's a great way to just pop on the RBA head, build a coil, dry-burn it, take it off.. repeat. Seriously, I love this thing to build on. One con: you want to be careful which battery you use inside as it is basically an unregulated mod.

PROS
Incredibly lightweight Feather-light
CONS
Misfires often Sometimes doesn't make contact
This is an odd in-between tube and box mod. It's so lightweight that it often flips over upside-down in my pocket. I've used it with the Kangertech Subtank, Nunchaku tank, and the Profile Unity RTA. All 3 had issues with misfiring, the center pin is just a bit weird, not incredibly shallow like I'm used to with Joyetechs. I'm used to using the Heat Insulation Gasket (SKU: 2173201) to keep the mod from getting scratched up or damaging the center pin... but this mod? Won't even make contact with most of my atomizers like that. 1 of 2 of my Nunchaku tanks wouldn't make contact even with the gasket off, neither would some Subtanks... sigh. It seems to indicate that once the center pin gets pushed down too much, it won't come back. Not properly floating at all. Oh, and the side cracked just from being in my pocket. The plastic seems strong so no danger of it coming apart... but it's a bit worrisome. So... final thought? Nice mod. Might find a use for it. Sticking to Joyetech products for now.

This is my second VTC Mini. Search POM gasket to preserve the 510 connection, which seems to lose its springiness if you over-tighten your atomizer. That's only 1 of 2 negatives, as it's an amazing value for the money. It can be charged and firmware-upgraded by USB. It's got a quick and sturdy battery cover. It looks great... except when the screen protecting-film gets scratched up. Remove that film at your own risk as the actual screen cover is even more sensitive to scratches.

I tested this straight from the bag into a Kanger Subtank. Got a disgusting chemical taste. Boiled it and soaked it and cleaned it as best as I could. Waited a few days for it to dry... same taste. There is definitely something other than natural cotton in there. I vape at 8 Watts, so maybe it tastes better at 20-50? I don't know. But for me, this was a waste.
